Sunday 27th September we are going to play again against Pälkäne and Viiala. Games are played in Liikuntahalli, starting at 12.00. We are willing to play few more games before the season starts, so if you are interested, let us know..

Today was a good day. We broke season record for the amount of participants in training, as well as the number of countries present. We had all together 17 guys + Jonni in training representing 5 different countries. Pretty impressive.
The basketball school for boys has started as well and we are extremely proud to see the talent and ambition the guys have. They practically have never played before but are eager to learn, which is the most important thing i suppose. More boys are welcome, at the moment there is only a handfull, so spread the word!

Tänään Apian liikuntahallilla pelattiin 3 joukkueen harjoitusturnaus. Haka-Basketin lisäksi pelaamaan saapuivat Viialan Viri Akaasta sekä Pälkäneen Lukko. Harjoituspelien anti oli hyvä, tosin pelaamattomuus näkyi selkeästi joukkueiden otteissa. Kotijoukkue marssitti kentälle viisi uutta pelaajaa, myös viime vuoden rinki oli pääosin paikalla. Kaikenkaikkiaan Hakalaisia olikin paikalla lähemmäs kaksikymmentä.
Seuraavan kerran Liikuntahallilla pelataan 27.9. klo 12.00, kyseessä harjoitusturnaus samojen joukkueiden toimesta.

The summer was succes for Haka-Basket. We had an excellent street basketball tournament including players from the top Finnish league. Games were awesome, weather was perfect and DJ Muggsy and friends provided perfect atmosphere! The Amazing Estonians, Team 305, did again.. they won the tournament 3rd time in a row after a best-ever-seen game in Valkeakoski. Hopefully we see same quality next year as well.
So the new season is about to start.. the word is out that Haka-Basket is getting (again) some new talents from HAMK. We are looking forward seeing what the orient has to offer. Welcome to Valkeakoski guys :)
